The key to a radically different approach to the problem of stress and its effects is profound but simple. It is based on three important realities:

#1: Stress is the body’s response to CHANGE.

Everyone knows that change is inevitable, just like death and taxes and lying politicians. It is a maxim that “the only constant is constant change”. Because of this, trying to reduce stress or relieve stress or even lessen stress is a zero-sum proposition.

The correct way to manage stress is to realize that it is inevitable. The only time you will ever be totally free of stress is when you’re dead!

This website, and my books and courses, provide material geared towards giving you the tools deal with stress head-on, in a proactive way.

#2: Stress at its root is a PHYSICAL problem.

You must recognize that you do not suffer from stress itself. You suffer from the physical problems that are caused by stress.

The mind is certainly involved. However anxiety, panic attacks, and depression are most definitely not “all in your head”. Most people misunderstand this critical point.

The methods I teach are devoted to attacking the effects of extreme stress at their root: in the body.

#3: So-called stress "reduction" techniques are doomed to FAIL.

If you left this page and did a Google search on “stress reduction” or “stress relief” right now, you would find literally millions of pages that will all tell you how to do the same thing: minimize the stressors in your life, or refrain from things that stress you out.

The problem is that, as we learned earlier, stress is inevitable. Trying to live a stress-free life is a pipe-dream. Anyone who tells you otherwise is trying to sell you something. And it’s usually some kind of drug.

Thousands of others can teach you how to run away from stress, either by changing your life in unrealistic ways, or popping a pill. But I promise you, you can’t run fast enough.
